    Abstract: Promotionsstellen und -gelegenheiten weisen einige Besonderheiten auf, insbesondere die Möglichkeit zur Promotion. Doch auch bei den universitären Stellenanbietern und -ausschreibungen gibt es Eigenarten, deren Kenntnis wichtig ist, um sich für oder gegebenenfalls auch gegen entsprechende Bewerbungen entscheiden und diese optimal gestalten zu können. -- Academic positions and unpaid opportunities for doctoral students have some peculiarities, especially the possibility to receive a doctorate. Moreover the potential employers and job postings at universities have special features. To know them is important for a meaningful decision for or against applications for such positions and opportunities and also for the optimal composition of these applications.
